Autumn (or fall if you prefer) is a favorite season for many people - and here in Saskatchewan where I live nature does not disappoint. I like to think of it as a happy send-off to the warmth before the bitter cold sets in - not that winter is any less beautiful here.

Once the leaves start to turn and the wind picks up its time to get out and capture the trees and leaves, but it is also a great time for outdoor portraits. Have a child play with a leaf, or use some large deciduous trees clinging to their new amber and yellow foliage to compliment your subject.
